Digital and Data Centre

The South West Institute of Technology (SWIOT) Digital and Data Centre at Exeter College has been signed off as part of a wider plan to revolutionise digital, engineering and manufacturing technology education across the region.

The new £11million building will be at the heart of the college and located on its Hele Road site in what is great news for the college, city and region.

Gym and Dance Studio

The new Gym and Dance Studio is an extension to the college’s £5.9 million Sports Hall in Victoria Yard in the centre of the city, opened in 2015.

Under the plans, the two storey extension will feature a fully equipped, modern Gym with the latest equipment on the ground floor, with a New York style glass fronted Dance Studio on the second floor, as well as additional teaching space.

Technology Centre Extension

Exeter College is creating a world-class £3million centre of excellence with cutting edge robotics and engineering technology.

The state-of-the art building is being built as a 780 square metre extension to the landmark Exeter College Technology Centre, on the edge of Exeter. The next generation of engineers will be trained at the centre, a UK-leading facility in Further Education.

The new £8.5million Technology Centre, built to provide world class Engineering, Aerospace and Automotive facilities at Monkerton on the edge of the city has now been completed.
